Hi, I'm Nathan, a handyman in Tega Cay
About Me
My love to build and design started young and stuck with me. I first found success in the automotive industry and eventually managing a product line of restyling products to customize vehicles. While I ventured into automotive parts assortments for retail and commercial stores, on the side, I was working on my home.
Before buying my first house, I rented. One of my landlords needed some help on his properties and I offered. What a learning experience! Along the way I met my wife, Amber, who, it turns out, as an art educator also has rosy glasses and a knack for getting things done.
It wasn't long until buying a fixer-upper was not so intimidating. Amber and I purchased our first house and was it ever a mountain to climb! We surrounded ourselves with local trades folk and trained and labored on the nights and weekends to hone our skills for all the odd jobs and big jobs this investment required.
With each complete project I learned a new skillset, had a finished product I could show off to friends and family, and added to a growing list of achievements. Amber even gave me the title of well-rounded. It is a thrill to make something new and beautiful and to have done the work with my hands.
In our free time, we travel to National Parks to hike trails, often in the mountains. Which, coincidentally, our path in search of more sun and trails within a day-trip brought us from Michigan to our new home in Tega Cay, South Carolina.
